Hilco Transport is Hiring a Tanker Division Dispatcher Near Duncan, SC
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize
- Good map reading skills and ability to use GPRS devices to chart routes
- Must have the ability to remain calm during high volume / pressure situations
- Prior leadership role would be idealComputer literate a must, Hilco currently utilizes TMW (industry specific software), MS Excel, Word (Proficiency is a must)

- Class –A license, preferred
- Minimum 10 hour schedule, daily, possibly 10-12 hour work days
Product lines: Butane, Propane, Liquid Asphalt and Petroleum
Core Responsibilities:
- Assign, schedule drivers and vehicles according to customer requests and in compliance with DOT regulations and company rules
- Communicate daily with customers to determine driver demand and driving schedules
- Notify and follow-up with drivers daily
- Chart and modify routes, when needed
- Monitor timeliness of dispatched runs
- Maintain a dispatch log to record all details of pick-up and drop-off
- Distribute and collect daily route sheets / work orders
- Communicate with drivers regarding PTO (personal time off) requests
- Be prepared to discuss any tardiness and call out issues
